SELF CONCORDANT GOALS
These are goals that are personally meaningful, and are representative of our personal values. According to Dr Tal Ben-Shahar, “people who articulate and pursue self-concordant goals are generally happier and more successful. Consider listing down what you really, really want to do in your work and personal life. Work out an action plan and lay out short term milestones to make your long term goal/s more attainable.
ME TIME
Sometimes a stressful day followed by demanding children/parents/spouse/friend/all of the above leaves one with a headache and foul mood. Consider taking some “me time” to recharge and take a breather. Be it taking a short walk, watching the sun set, reading a book, watching your favourite TV programme, chatting with a friend, or having a good meal. Enjoy your “me time”!
